existing software ? avoiding additional software

A patrol officer starts his shift in the
vehicle with the R12 Tablet PC docked
in the Secure Mobile Dock. The easy
to read 12.5? screen and Windows® 7
or Windows® 8.1 operating system
enable him to use existing CAD,
e-citation and other software he is
accustomed to. At the scene of a
traffic accident, the officer starts the
investigation by documenting evidence
with the R12 Tablet integrated 8MP
camera. Motion SnapWorks™ makes
it easy to annotate and import photos
into his report. To issue a citation,
the officer scans the driver?s license
with the R12 SlateMate™ barcode
reader, then issues the ticket by
using e-citation software. The
incident report is completed and
uploaded through the R12 Tablet
4G LTE wireless connection.
On the scene of a call, an EMT
undocks the R12 Tablet and grabs his
medical bag to attend to the patient.
With a quick fingerprint ID read, he?s
logged in reviewing live data about
the situation. He?s able to remotely
access the patient?s previous reports
and compares vital signs, noticing an
irregular heartbeat. He passes the
information upstream to the receiving
hospital. Onboard with the patient, he
docks the R12 Tablet into the Secure
Mobile Dock enabling him to keep
both hands free to treat the patient.
The Project Supervisor for a large
commercial high-rise development
starts his morning at the job site
with his R12 Tablet in the Work
Anywhere Kit strapped over his
shoulder. He reviews schematics
and drawings on the R12?s 12.5?
HD outdoor display. After noticing
some blueprint inconsistencies,
he documents and annotates the
information using Motion SnapWorks™
with his 8MP documentation camera,
immediately relaying the problem
to the architectural team using 4G
LTE wireless connectivity. From
the hood of his truck, he sends
emails to subcontractors using the
Companion Keyboard with EasyPair
technology. As he climbs into his
truck, he safely docks the tablet in
