Remote Web-Based Control
ASWM enables users to monitor system status from remote locations through the web. No need to install from client side. ASWM provides a user-friendly interface by utilizing pictures and icons to allow system manager to easily identify system status.

Fast System Diagnosis
The System View feature of ASWM consists of a computer generated image of the server, clearly illustrating system operation on every major component from the front, rear and top of the system. When an abnormal system event takes place, a signal appears on the server image right next to the component that¡¦s responsible for the event. Warning signal is orange, while red indicates critical status.

Clear Status Information
The Health Information feature displays key system status such as temperature, component voltages, fan speeds and capacity. The Inventory FRU System Information feature shows the name and number of each component.

Automatic Update Real Time Chart
ASWM automatically updates system status data every 5 seconds by setting a real time charts for CPU operations, memory capacity. Motherboard temperature etc. This feature provides the most up-to-date information and allows system managers to quickly identify any abnormal system events.

Warning Functions
When abnormal events occur, ASWM send e-mails or mobile phone messages to preprogrammed recipients.

IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) is the standard for intelligent interface management that offers cross-platform interface to monitor system status such as temperature, voltage, and fans etc., and MIS could be informed via event notification.

Evolving into IPMI1.5 from 1.0 in 2001, interfaces were added for LAN Serial/ Modem, PCI management bus etc, along with alerting function. In the 2004 Intel Developer Forum, Intel released IPMI2.0, which provides IT customers with higher reliability, console redirection, supports modular blade server, and is backwards compatible with version s1.0 and 1.5.

Through the IPMI protocol, MIS is capable of monitoring the running status components via LAN or Serial LAN, such as CPU, fan speed, system temperature, voltage and etc. MIS can also configure critical values to monitored items. Thus when abnormal situation occurs, MIS is notified by email or SNMP trap Additionally, remote monitor, and system reply function via hardware and software cooperation are integrated, letting MIS to discover real-time system status, and enable login, shut down or server reboot.
