Overview
The HP 10 magenta printhead works with the Hewlett Packard 2000C and 2500C
professional series color printers. The HP 10 magenta printhead includes a
"smart chip" that works with the HP RealLife Imaging System to monitor printing
and automatically warn you when the ink is running low and when the printheads
are wearing out. Most HP 10 printheads will last 3-4 years, depending on use.
The printer driver will give you a warning if your printhead is about to fail.
You will then be able to purchase a replacement printhead before the print
quality begins to deteriorate.
