Asus serverboard DSBF-D/1U supports Dual-Core / Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors 5000/5100/5300 Sequence and Intel® 5000P chipset to improve performance and reliability. It's ready for the broadest range of 64-bit applications and with Intel® VT and Intel® I/OAT technology to focus on high-end server market. With 8 FBD DIMM slots, DSBF-D/1U can support 4-channel FBDIMM DDR2 533/667 up to 32GB to significantly improve the serverboard's computing capability.
DSBF-D/1U has a full range of expansion choices: it supports next-generation PCI Express x8 slot (x8 link) and PCI Express x16 (x8 link) slot; it protects users' investment with one PCI-X 133MHz slot and one PCI 32/33MHz slot as flexible options for server utilization.
The serverboard supports mainstream or next-generation storage, including IDE, and SATAII. It has integrated 6 SATAII 300MB/s ports which has built-in RAID functions for better and cost-effective data protection. It covers from embedded SATA RAID 0, 1, 10 with most Linux drivers support for value level market. It really benefits user with the best upgrade capability and data protection.
