This serverboard is based on AMD's latest socket F platform, with 2
next-generation AMD OpteronTM processors (socket 1207) and nVIDIA nForece 2200
Pro chipset support ready, which can provide immediate performance upgrade. The
8 DIMM slots support dual channel ECC Reg. DDR2 667 up to 32GB for mission
critical application, and DDR2 667 provides better performance over last
generation Opteron™ DDR400 platform.

There are 4 expansion slots in KFN4-DRE, including: one PCI-E x 16 which has
more head room to scale up the I/O performance; one HTX slot which support an
add-on card interface that connects to other nodes in the cluster via a direct
link to CPU, one 32bit/33MHz PCI and one SODIMM socket for optional ASUS ASMB3
management card for remote offline serviceability functions, users therefore
have flexibility to choose on their own demands.

CPU is right in the center of serverboard for system fans to blow directly;
Streamline DIMM slots enables smoother air flow inside chassis;
PSU & IDE connector are located by the border to avoid unnecessary air block
caused by cables
