* Folder Notes
Attach meaningful information to every folder in PaperPort using Folder Notes. Add contact information, project or ID numbers, significant dates and schedules, or anything that relates to all the documents in that folder. Now you don't have to open documents to get to the most often needed information and Folder Notes can be automatically added to every scanned PDF document to save you time.
* 4 Customizable Scanner Profiles
Encapsulate all of your scanner settings in a profile so it will do exactly what you want with the touch of a button. Change profile names to what is most meaningful to your work.
* Support for Scanner Buttons
If your All-in-One or scanner has a button on it for scanning, it will now work directly with PaperPort. Simply assign the button on your device to one of PaperPort's Scanner Profiles and let PaperPort do the rest.
* Custom File Naming Options
Add the date and a sequential number before or after a custom name for every file you scan to uniquely identify or serialize each document.
* Additional Format Options
Now you can scan text directly to MS Word, Excel or WordPerfect to simplify your processing tasks. Add our award winning OmniPage document conversion software for even more accurate results and additional format types.
* Automatically Add Keywords to Documents
Scanner Profiles can automatically add keywords to every PDF file you scan using the keywords you have assigned to folders in Folder Notes. Keywords travel with the document in properties and can be reviewed and searched inside and outside of PaperPort.

Add every scanned document directly to the All-in-One Index without manual intervention. Now the contents of scanned documents become instantly searchable.
* New SET Tools
Never rescan a document or photo again! SET (Scanner Enhancement Technology) tools allow you to correct images or documents. In addition to being able to straighten, remove background noise, adjust contrast and more, you can now drop out color for perfect white backgrounds, increase the clarity of black text and erase the edges of documents.
