| Description |
This adapter supports PCMCIA ATA Flash, ATA Hard Disk and Compact Flash. The
adapter automatically sets the 68 pin ATA mode of the PCMCIA Card to a 40-pin
IDE connector allowing the systems BIOS to access the card directly as an IDE
drive. The Hot Swap Function has been added to this adapter enabling you to
insert and remove Flash Cards without turning the PC off.
The ATA to 3.5" IDE Adapter is the same size as a 3.5" floppy disk drive so it
can be mounted in a free 3.5" drive mount on the front of you computer.
