Security
Complies with industry security standards for wireless data encryption, and user authorization. 802.11i ready, WPA provides enhanced, interoperable wireless networking security. WPA and 802.1x support enables strong mutual authentication to ensure that only legitimate clients associate with corporate RADIUS servers. Supports MAC address authentication with 256-user Access Control List (ACL) and VPN pass-through.

Management
Integrated IEEE 802.3af-based Power over Ethernet (PoE) support eliminates extra cables and the need to locate near a power outlet, as the access point is powered over the Ethernet cable. Supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) MIB I, MIB II, and 802.11 MIB using SNMP-based network management software, such as NETGEAR ProSafe Network Management System NMS100.
