This kit includes 2 units of TL-PA201 adequate to start a basic powerline
(Ethernet over power) network.
TP-LINK Ethernet Powerline Adapter provides another wire-free solution for the
SOHO life. By offering a Plug-N-Play method, you can easily connect to internet,
watch IPTV, play online game, and transfer files over power line. The device
transforms your house's existing electrical wiring into a ubiquitous networking
infrastructure, it will easily extend your Cable/xDSL broadband connection or
existing LAN to any other electrical outlet in any room of your house without
new cabling.
The 200Mbps Ethernet Powerline Adapter TL-PA201 provides an easy way to set it
up, just simply connect one adapter to your router, plug it into your existing
power outlet, and then it could help you to build up the whole house network
connection. With two adapters plugged in, you could simply press the 'pair'
button to building a connection without other configuration. The maximum
transmission range of our adapter could be up to 200m over your household power
supply grid.
Besides, with 200Mbps high speed and build-in QoS feature, TL-PA201 enables
lag-free entertainment such as online/LAN gaming, audio/video streaming
simultaneously, and the application with real-time requirements. IGMP managed
multicast IP transmission also help to optimizes IPTV streaming. What's more,

Important Notice:
At least 2 powerline adapters are required to form a powerline network (aka
Ethernet over Power)
Powerline adapters of the same standard can only be used with another unit of
the same standard, i.e. Homeplug Turbo with Homeplug Turbo (85Mbps, TL-PA101),
Homeplug AV with Homeplug AV (200Mbps, TL-PA201). You cannot mix a 85Mbps
homeplug with a 200Mbps
The powerline adapters have to be installed in the same electrical circuit to
form a proper powerline network.
