Effortless Adjustment
The smooth motion hinge on your Apple display requires very little pressure to
tilt the monitor to a different position. This design allows you to view the
adjust the display from a -5° to a +25° angle to suit the need of different
users. All you need is the touch of a finger to move your featherweight display.
Peripheral Vision
Your Apple display includes two FireWire 400 ports and a two port USB 2.0
self-powered hub. So you can have a printer or scanner connected, or a camcorder
or digital camera. The FireWire port lets you easily use an iSight camera for
video chat, presented beautifully on your Apple display, or connect your iPod
dock. You can also make best use of all the latest USB 2.0 devices, whether
you’re using your display with a Mac or PC.

GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL graphics card delivers, with the most advanced graphics
engine available. This card, designed specifically to support the dual link DVI
connection, delivers 2560 by 1600 resolution. Even better, it can drive two
30-inch Apple Cinema HD Displays*, giving you the ultimate creative canvas.
About VESA
The Video Electronics Standards Association promotes and develops timely,
relevant, open display and display interface standards, ensuring
interoperability, and encouraging innovation. By choosing the VESA standard
mount, Apple lets you choose any mounting solution that is VESA compliant.
Choosing the VESA standard for DVI lets you select graphics cards that are VESA
compliant to connect an Apple display to a PC.
*Power Mac G5 and NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL graphics card (offered as CTO
option for new Power Mac G5 customers and as a kit for current Power Mac G5
customers) required to use the 30-inch Cinema HD Display.
