UTP Line Splitter (2 to 1) Dongle
The UTP line splitter works by using the 2 redundant pairs in a data line, because all data lines only use 2 pairs. This device connects the data through the two redundant pairs and will not work with phone lines because phone lines use lines 4 and 5.
The UTP Line Splitter features 1 x RJ45 plug to 2 x RJ45 sockets.
Application Examples
• One outlet in an office, and one at the patch panel. You want to add a network point without having to run a new cable. These splitters, used in pairs allow run of two devices over one cable
