Suited for harsh environments and for unsupervised applications that may be
subject to vandalism or abuse. Both the
fascia and the keycaps are constructed from stainless steel and are tested to
withstand impact similar to hammer
blows. Keycaps are non-removable, and all keyswitches are designed with
over-travel protection. The integrated, lipsealed
trackball is made of a heavy-duty phenolic material designed specifically to
resist attempted abuse it is IP65
and NEMA-4 rated with suitable enclosure making it resistant to water and dust.
All keycaps are laser marked, rather
than printed, resulting in long-term resistance against wear and weather.
