  • DeepCool UF120 120mm Case Fan Review
    Accessories and packing of the UF 120 were actually top notch. They included about all you could want with the fan. With a few issues regarding using regular screws, and it damaging the TPE Coating, I can say this fan isn't perfect. Regular threaded screws will tear up the inner TPE coating of the fan, but this will not occur if you used the included rubber fan screws. Which are also a benefit of the product as they do help absorb and reduce vibrations from the product.

    Lüfter-Roundup 2011 - UF120
    Der UF140 besteht aus den gleichen Materialien, wie der kleinere 120er und kommt auch mit dem gleichen Lieferumfang daher. Die Drehzahl ist jedoch angepasst worden und wird mit 700-1200rpm angegeben. Im Test wurden per PWM-Regulation 680-1240 Touren erreicht. Natürlich ist die Kühlleistung etwas höher. Bei 900rpm ist sie sogar auf dem Niveau des UF120 bei voller Drehzahl. Auch hier kann man den mitgelieferten 7V-Adapter problemlos verwenden. Diese Spannung ist auch der unterste Wert, bei welchem sich der Quirl starten lässt. Hier wird erst im unteren Drehzahlbereich ein Klackern hörbar. Scheinbar ist beim verwendeten Lager noch Optimierungspotential vorhanden. Dafür ist die Gesamtlautheit etwas geringer als bei kleineren Schwestermodell. Sonst kann man den UF140 ebenso wie den UF120 durchaus empfehlen, wenn der Preis noch etwas sinkt. Dieser liegt einen Euro über dem 120er.
