The GS-1008PHE features 4 IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, port 1to port 4, which supply up to 15.4 watts of power per port to IEEE 802.3af compliant network devices, including wireless access points, network cameras and IP phones. The GS-1008PHE also features PoE detection, to verify whether the connected device is IEEE 802.3at compliant and supply power as needed; if it is not a PoE device, only data will be sent through the LAN cable.
