Rugged, field ready

With sealed and full-body rubberized casing, the Motion® F5m Tablet PC is designed to prevent and survive bumps or drops that field workers can face on the job site daily. It is rigorously tested for IP54 rating and MIL-STD-810G drop test (48” drop). This means it is suitable for use in harsh environments and is resistant to dust and water, so it could, for example, withstand a rain shower. The Motion F5m Rugged Tablet is equipped with Corning® Gorilla® Glass, offering advanced display protection – perfect for real-world mobile work environments. With the F5m’s high resolution digital camera and the SnapWorks™ by Motion camera application, inspectors can snap a picture, mark it up with pen or touch input, automatically include a GPS and time stamp and then instantly share the annotated picture using the embedded 4G XLTE mobile broadband technology. Adaptable

The Motion F5m Rugged Tablet PC has unsurpassed capabilities to adapt to most field environments. Its compact design can be flexibly mounted in a vehicle using Motion’s dash-mounted In-Vehicle Solutions or clamped to a forklift through a Mobile Dock. Using Motion’s EasyConnect expansion modules, the F5m can be used to accept payments in the field with the EasyConnect Magstripe Reader, or manage assets and inventory with the EasyConnect UHF RFID Long Range Reader.

The F5m Tablet PC is purposely built with both system and data security in mind. Enable multi-factor authentication with a combination of password, fingerprint scanner and smart card reader (optional).
