The F5m tablet PC by Motion Computing is an innovative slate tablet designed specifically for field service and mobile professionals. The Motion F5m weighs only 3.3 pounds and features a durable design to protect against environmental conditions and accidental situations. The Motion F5 tablet will increase worker efficiency and productivity by enabling constant, real-time communications while in the field. It allows you to keep track of important documents and manuals, take and store pictures, fill out forms, capture signatures, email documents to the office, and more. The Motion F5m is a rugged tablet PC which means it is more durable than a commercial tablet PC. Rated at IP54 and MIL-STD-810G, the rugged Motion F5 can take bumps, drops or exposure to wind, heat, and rain. The Motion F5 also has typical rugged features such as magnesium alloy casing which is 20 times stronger than a commercial laptop and a solid state drive for enhanced durability and performance, as well as improved battery life.

The Motion F5 rugged tablet PC comes standard with several features such as an ergonomic carrying handle, fingerprint reader, 10.4� display, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth�, and integrated digital cameras (rear 8.0 MP and front 2.0MP web camera). Optional features on the F5m include enhanced GPS, ultra-fast 4G XLTE mobile broadband connectivity, SmartCard reader, and barcode scanner.

Class 1, Division 2 (C1D2) Certified models are also available for use in environments that may cause typical laptops to cause a spark. CID2 is an ANSI / ISA North American certification for hazardous locations.

Motion's software, SNAPWORKS by Motion is included on the F5m tablet. SNAPWORKS is an intuitive, touch-based camera application that provides mobile workers an easy way to capture, annotate, and share images.
