Samsung NX-N2 offers a way for organizations to secure and streamline the IT environment through VDI technology using existing monitors. Centralized IT management, made possible by NX-N2, can increase security by eliminating potential risk of locally stored data sitting on a desktop PC and reduce maintenance costs by reducing the complexity of IT assets per employee. Companies can replace cumbersome desktop PCs taking up substantial amount of space with the sleek, compact NX-N2 box type zero client, and provide cloud computing capability from virtually any connected device.
NX-N2 requires no external hard drive or chipset for cloud computing because it comes embedded with the Teradici Gen2 chipset. NX- N2 provides DP (Display Port) and DVI-I (Digital Video Interface - Integrated) as video output, connectors, allowing wider variety of monitors to be connected. Dual monitor configuration is also possible by using both video output connectors for each monitor.

Centralized storage and management also supports compliance with many data protection regulations. With compact design and sleek, sophisticated exterior, NX-N2 takes up less workspace area and adds an element of sophistication. NX- N2 itself measures at just 150.0 mm (5.91 in.) tall, 30.4 mm (1.2 in.) wide and 126.4 mm (4.98 in.) deep when placed vertically, and weighs at mere 0.425 kg (0.94 lb). The fanless design of NX-N2 keeps the device running quietly, contributing to a more pleasant working environment.
A total of six USB (Universal Serial Port) ports offered by NX-N2 allow many commonly used USB peripherals to be connected directly to NX-N2 without the need of an additional USB hub. The gigabit ethernet LAN port allows the zero client to carry out its task on the central server with minimal delay.
With integrated stereo speakers, the NX-N2 user can play music or other audio content without the need for bulky external speakers.
