If you don’t have HDMI, then you can still get standard definition video and 2 channel audio. The DVD008 DVD player also has a USB port so you can play back a variety of movies, music and photos from a USB memory stick making this DVD player a versatile media player as well.
Small Footprint DVD player

HDMI Output
With HDMI, you only need the one cable for both video and Audio. HDMI also offers high definition Video (to 720p) and Audio (5.1 AC3/Pro logic and Dolby Digital ready) meaning it’s ready for the latest surround sound home theatre systems as well as the latest flat panel TV. HDMI is less susceptible to electromagnetic interference which can come from other electronic devices so you get a cleaner signal because it’s digital.
Composite video output and Left/Right Channel stereo output
The old Red/White RCA cables for 2 channel audio and yellow RCA cable for composite SD video are still there, making it ideal for older TV’s or hifi systems / receivers. There is also a digital coaxial audio output (RCA) which outputs digital audio signals for applicable AV receivers and home theatre systems
Plug and play, simple to setup
The DVD-HD008 is easy to setup. Use either a HDMI cable to connect to a newer TV or use a composite video cable (the old style Yellow RCA type) to connect it to an older TV and thats it!
