You're now able to buy a bottle of water or pick up the dry cleaning, almost anywhere you can swipe your card, even if you don't have your phone or wallet with you. Because Gear S3 supports both MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) and NFC (Near Field Communication) payment technologies.

Go days without charging

With the Gear S3, you can go for up to four days before putting it down for a charge. Its battery lasts that long.

Notify your emergency contacts

Just press the home button three times. You can immediately send your location to predetermined people of your choice who will then be able to track your whereabouts in real time. An alert will also be sent to a security company you signed up with.

Resistant to water and dust

Wear the Gear S3 out in all kinds of weather, to all kinds of places. It's rated IP68 so it's able to withstand dust and dirt and being up to 1.5 meters or 30 minutes underwater.
