It doesn't work except for very specific hardware, cpu must provide 'Neon' support. Completely misleading, no drivers for windows, company went into liquidation, no one can solve the aerial issue. Blanket 'works on Android' is nonsense. And there's a reason there are big things on your roof, it's the size of the wavelength, stupid. Bought it because someone may have cracked it. Nope. I can just get it to work on my Galaxy Note II, when connected to my flat's roof antenna. None of that's on the attractive packaging, is it!

An easy to install and use device. The title is a misnomer as it advises it is for Android, however one you go to the Elgato site, Apple compatible software is available. Semi rural areas will need to be plugged in to an external area to get reception, but once connected, tuning was a breeze (51 channels detected). Very satisfied, saves buying an additional TV.

Tuner works an absolute treat. Great picture quality, easy to navigate software.

Make sure you take note of requests for access to usb resources when setting up software and answer yes to allow.

Able to attach an external antenna with the right connectors when required to improve reception in marginal areas. Supplied antenna good in close proximity to broadcast towers, will require external antenna if poor reception. True of any portable device with a small antenna.

Reception poor when used indoors without external antenna. Don't expect great performance when used in car, bus or train.

This is an excellent tuner and used correctly will give superb performance.

Clever little unit. But works on later android version than l have, therefore I will need to wait until I get a new phone to use it. A bit annoying!
