The VE803 HDMI & USB Extender is a high-performance solution designed to extend HDMI signals up to 60m from the source using two CAT5E, CAT6 or CAT6A cables. It offers the flexibility to send 1080i signals up to 60m and 1080p signals up to 40m, making it ideal for professional AV installations and home theatre setups. This unit ensures superior video quality with support for a wide range of resolutions including 1080p, 1920x1200 (WUXGA), and various VGA formats.

Equipped with integrated USB connectors, the VE803 allows you to extend USB devices between units seamlessly. This feature is particularly beneficial for touch panel control, enabling users to control a local HDMI source from a remote display or vice-versa. The transparent USB support ensures compatibility with all USB 2.0 full-speed devices up to 12Mbps, providing a versatile interface for various peripherals.

The extender features an 8-segment equaliser adjustment switch to optimise display quality based on distance and environment. It is fully HDCP compatible and supports advanced audio formats such as Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio. With built-in 8KV/15KV ESD protection, the VE803 is built for durability and reliability in demanding environments.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES

Power Requirement: This system requires a power supply at both the Transmitter and Receiver ends. Ensure power outlets are available at both locations.
Wiring Standard (Solid Cable): For UTP solid core cabling, T568B termination is mandatory. If using S/FTP shielded solid cable, either T568A or T568B is acceptable.
For maximum signal stability: and 4K performance approaching the max rated distance, we strongly recommend using Cat6A Shielded Patch Cords (004.100.xxxx) or SLD.C6ASFTP.XXX. For shorter distances, SLD.C6UTP.XXXX or SLD.C6AUUTP.XXX terminated to T568B is suitable.
