| Description | The Eaton 5SC 500VA (5SC500I) is a compact line-interactive tower UPS that provides 500 VA / 350 W backup power for servers, networking and storage equipment. Features include Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), clean sine-wave output, an LCD for real-time status and measurements, and Advanced Battery Management (ABM) to extend battery life. Communications include one USB (HID) port and one serial (RS-232) port; compatible with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager / Intelligent Power Protector software. The unit uses a user-replaceable 12 V, 9 Ah lead-acid maintenance-free battery (1 battery) and delivers approximately 5 minutes runtime at full load and 13 minutes at half load. Certified to IEC/EN 62040-1, IEC/EN 62040-2, UL 1778 and CE. Compact dimensions and low noise make it suitable for office and small data center deployment. |
