| Description | The TP-Link Omada ES224G is a 24-port Gigabit Layer 2 easy-managed switch designed for small businesses and surveillance networks. It provides 24× 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, fanless silent operation, a durable metal chassis and flexible desktop or 1U rack-mount deployment. Centralized management is available via the Omada app, web GUI or Omada Cloud Essentials (free), with optional upgrade to Omada Cloud Standard. Advanced L2 features include VLAN (802.1Q, port-based, MTU VLAN), port isolation, static link aggregation, IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping with Fast Leave, automatic loop prevention, port mirroring, QoS (802.1p/DSCP, 8 queues, WRR), cable test, and flow control. Hardware specs include 48 Gbps switching capacity, 35.7 Mpps forwarding rate, 8K MAC address table, 4 Mbit packet buffer, jumbo frame support (up to 15 KB), store-and-forward transmission, surge/ESD protection and low power consumption (~11.4 W max, 6.0 W idle).
