The fanless, desktop design includes a hardware DIP switch to select Standard or VLAN mode (ports 1–8 isolated from each other in VLAN mode), integrated 6 kV lightning protection on ports, MAC address self-learning (16K entries), 2 Mb/2 MB packet buffer (reported), and support for full-duplex 802.3x and half-duplex backpressure flow control.
