| Description | The TP-Link MC100CM is an external media converter that links 100Base-FX multi-mode fiber (SC/UPC) to 10/100Base-TX copper (RJ45). Compliant with IEEE 802.3/802.3u standards and using longwave (LX) laser technology at 1310 nm, it provides full wire-speed conversion for Fast Ethernet and extends multi-mode fiber connections up to 2 km (1.2 miles). The unit supports auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX on the TX port, configurable half/full-duplex on the FX port, full-duplex flow control (IEEE 802.3x) and half-duplex backpressure, Link Fault PassThrough and Far End Fault. The MC100CM can operate standalone or be mounted in a compatible TP-Link chassis, and ships with an external DC power adapter and installation guide. |
