This slim CAT6 cable meets all Category 6 patch cable specifications to deliver a reliable Gigabit and Power over Ethernet (PoE) network connection in high-density network installations.
Improved Airflow
The Slim Cat6 Patch Cord is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 Ethernet cables, enabling greater airflow and heat dissipation in confined spaces. The Slim Cat6 Ethernet cable is also more flexible, for easier cable routing in crowded network racks and patch panels.
This cable features snagless connectors that protect the RJ45 clips during installation, reducing snags or breakage when routing through narrow gaps or in between devices.
Durable Construction
The Slim Cat6 Cable features 50-micron gold RJ45 contacts that ensure a precise fit to minimize wear and signal loss. The 4-pair Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) construction utilizes 28AWG Pure Bare Copper Wire for improved conductivity and low resistance. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. This enables safer installations in poorly-ventilated areas including some industrial settings, self-contained environments such as trains and aircraft, as well as residential settings where compliance with building codes must be considered.
Tested for Reliability
Each cable is individually tested using a Fluke® DSX2-8000 CableAnalyzer™ to meet ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 specifications, ensuring consistent signal integrity with minimal Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Retun Loss (RL). Reliably deliver up to 100W of PoE++ to power a remote networking devices, including PoE switches and boardroom cameras. This Slim Cat6 Patch Cable complies with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ specifications.
