| Description | The POE20E-Outdoor is a rugged Gigabit PoE+ extender from TP-Link's Omada family that extends both data and power for outdoor deployments. It provides two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and delivers up to 30 W of 802.3af/at-compliant PoE+ to power IP cameras, access points and other PoE devices. The unit extends a PoE/PoE+ connection an additional 100 m at full Gigabit speed (100 m + 100 m) and supports extended lower-speed ranges up to 250 m per segment (250 m + 250 m). Built for harsh conditions, it features an IP68 weatherproof enclosure, -40°C to 65°C operating temperature range, 6 kV lightning protection and ESD protection. Plug-and-play installation and inline Ethernet deployment make it simple to add remote devices without local power sources. Note: the device uses an adaptive data-rate design; link stability can be affected by cable length and quality (intermittent connectivity reported around 160–170 m on some Cat5e cables). If issues occur, configure the connected device to 10 Mbps full-duplex, enable Extend Mode on the PSE, or adjust cable length. |
