No driver is required. The aluminum-alloy frame and M.2 thermal pads help dissipate heat to maintain performance. Use the adapter to replace costly U.2 SSDs with more affordable M.2 drives, increase IOPS for caching, or install in a high-end workstation for data-intensive tasks. Note: protocol translation may introduce overhead and the connected drives may not always reach their native maximum performance. |
