Constructed with an aluminum-alloy metal frame and thermal pads for improved heat dissipation, the adapter supports PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 M.2 and U.2 devices. No additional drivers are required. Lab-tested AJA System Test results (with a Seagate IronWolf 525 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD in QNAP Labs) showed read/write figures of 5381.8 MB/s and 2423.8 MB/s (results vary by environment). Includes mounting hardware and thermal pads. |
