Powered by an AMD Ryzen V1780B quad-core (8-thread) 64-bit CPU and 8 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM (expandable to 32 GB), the RS2423+ delivers up to 3,500/1,700 MB/s sequential read/write throughput and up to ~155K/79K random read/write IOPS. It includes 1 x 10GbE RJ-45 and 2 x 1GbE RJ-45 ports, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a PCIe 3.0 x8 (x4 electrical) expansion slot, and a mini-SAS HD expansion port for RX1223RP expansion units (expands to a maximum of 24 bays). Running Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), the RS2423+ supports Btrfs and ext4, a wide range of RAID modes (including Synology Hybrid RAID), SSD caching, comprehensive backup and file-sharing protocols, and Synology applications for drive and surveillance management. |
