| Description | The Synology RackStation RS2825RP+ is a 3U, 16-bay rackmount NAS designed for business and remote-office deployments. Powered by an AMD Ryzen V1780B quad-core processor (3.35 GHz base, 3.6 GHz turbo) and shipped with 8 GB DDR4 ECC memory (expandable to 32 GB), it supports 3.5" SATA HDDs and 2.5" SATA SSDs in hot-swappable bays and can be expanded to 28 drives with an RX1225RP expansion unit. Built-in networking includes one 10GbE RJ-45 port and two 1GbE RJ-45 ports, and a PCIe Gen3 x8 (x4 link) slot enables additional NIC or adapter upgrades. The RS2825RP+ runs Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), supports Btrfs, Synology Hybrid RAID and standard RAID modes, offers hardware encryption and SSD cache support, and includes redundant power supplies and hot-swappable fans for high availability in enterprise environments. |
