| Description | The Synology RX418 is a 1U, short-depth 4-bay expansion unit designed to add additional SATA storage to compatible Synology RackStation systems. It supports four hot-swappable 3.5" or 2.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs, connects to the host NAS via a single external 7-pin eSATA port, and is managed directly through Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) for plug-and-play expansion, online volume expansion and drive hibernation. The RX418 features three cooling fans, lockable trays, a 100 W internal power supply (100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz), and a compact chassis suitable for 2-post and wall-mount racks. Includes main unit, user guide, accessory pack, AC power cord and eSATA cable. |
