| Description | The QNAP TL-R1200S-RP is a high-performance 12-bay 2U rackmount SATA JBOD storage enclosure designed to expand and back up QNAP NAS systems as well as Windows and Linux/Ubuntu computers and servers. It provides twelve 3.5"/2.5" SATA III 6Gb/s drive bays, three external Mini-SAS (SFF-8088) ports (each supporting four SATA 6Gb/s lanes), and a 250W redundant power supply for improved uptime. The unit is software-configurable: use Storage & Snapshots on QNAP QTS/QuTS hero for storage pool/volume management and RAID configuration, or the QNAP JBOD Manager utility on Windows/Ubuntu for enclosure and disk health monitoring. The TL-R1200S-RP includes a QXP-1600eS PCIe SATA expansion card and three SFF-8644 to SFF-8088 mini-SAS cables, and ships with screws and power cords for rack installation. Note: when attached to a QNAP NAS, the TL-R1200S-RP must be used as a separate storage pool/volume and cannot be merged into an existing NAS storage pool. macOS is not supported. |
