The chassis supports 8 hot-swappable 3.5"/2.5" SATA drives plus two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x1 slots for NVMe SSD caching or AI/Edge TPU add-on modules. Dual built-in 2.5GbE RJ45 ports accelerate file transfers over existing Cat5e cabling and additional networking (10/25GbE) can be added via the PCIe Gen3 x8 slot.
