| Description | The Sophos XGS 108w is a second-generation desktop security appliance delivering high-performance firewall, VPN and advanced threat protection for small and medium-sized businesses. It offers up to 12,500 Mbps firewall throughput with hardware-accelerated features (Xstream FastPath / Xstream DPI) and strong encrypted-traffic handling. The W-model includes integrated Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) 2x2:2 dual-band wireless with two external antennas and a fanless design for quiet operation. Connectivity includes six fixed 2.5 GbE copper ports and one SFP fiber port; management and local I/O comprise COM RJ45, Micro-USB console, USB 2.0 (front) and USB 3.0 (rear). Optional modules include SFP transceivers and an optional 5G module (via expansion bay) and there are options for swappable components such as a second power supply. The unit ships with an AU power cord for Australian power outlets (SKU/MPN variant). |
